Troutmasters has dedicated itself to the conservation
of marine life, and getting the community and its
children involved in conservation and competitive
saltwater angling. Troutmasters is the largest circuit
of its kind focusing on the most sought after
gamefish in the Gulf of Mexico.
Troutmasters Tournament Series has grown in both
popularity and participation over the last ten years. In
2004 the decision was made to expand into Louisiana
thus doubling the number of tournaments held and
the effects of educating the competitive angler on live
release Speckled Trout fishing.
It is Troutmasters goal to educate the over three
million saltwater anglers on the techniques of live
release Speckled Trout fishing through the
tournament series. This effort has resulted in millions
of trout being hatched each year in their natural
environment.
The success of Troutmasters in Texas is well
documented and now with the expansion to Louisiana
our goals will have a greater effect on the
conservation of marine life.
